Looking for owners manual
Hi
We just purchased a 1996 Monaco Dynasty Motorcoach and know NOTHING about it. Looking for the owners manual. The dealership manual search doesn’t go that far back so we are reaching out hoping someone has one we could get a PDF from. Thanks for any suggestions or help. Can’t wait to get out and do some exploring, but want to have a reference beforehand so we know what we are doing, maintenance, repair etc.

There are a couple Yahoo groups that may be able to help. Search Yahoo Groups for 'monacoers', or Monaco-Coach-Owners-Association, or ramblin_pushers and you may find what you are looking for.

I have not been able to join the Yahoo sites mentioned above.
I am a yahoo member of other sites, but this Monaco site is a bunker for sure.
Any tips on how to contact those how may help would be appreciated.

The owner's manual, especially from older RVs, really tell you nothing. I would suggest you make a list of all your components/appliences (i.e. refrigerator, AC, hot water heater, furnace, etc) and look for manuals for them. I think you will find they will give you much more info re parts, troubleshooting, etc.

agree with ^this^ 100%!
we bought our ‘95 dynasty a year ago and i was stunned @ how little i knew about the coach and our prior 16 years of trouble free gasser ownership was of little help.
i’ve muddled through a steep learning curve and with feedback from irv2 folks am feeling a *bit* more comfortable with how the components and systems function and interact with one another.
which manuals do you have?

If the company is still about, call or contact them. Page 2
There are a couple of books, one is a Woodall's publication (Camping workd) and the other is not. Most larger dealers will have one or the other. I can not recommend one over the other as they are both very good. And you do not need both as they cover the same things. Written BY RVers for RVers
The RV Owner's Handbook
The RV Book.
They should cover everything not specific to your chassis.
For the chassis, if you can not find an owner's manual. look for a Truck that is close.. Chilton's or their competitor.
