Looking for tips on changing 2005 Cayman 5.9 fuel filters

We have a (new to us) 2005 Cayman with a Cummins 5.9 in it. I need to change the fuel filters before we leave on a trip in a few days. Iím sure there are threads out there with tips, but Iím having a hard time finding them with the search engine.

Does anybody have any tips on changing the filters (not to get air in the lines) or a link to a thread(s) that could help me?

Thanks!
Randy

See this http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/eng...filter-basics/ Note tip about cycling the key to prime the filter.
I don't have a 5.9 so I can't say for sure that these tips are the same for a 5.9 in a motorhome (as there are for a pickup truck) but I would think it would be.
Good luck.

Yes they are the same as a truck in a motorhome chassis. At least they are on my 07 Neptune with the 5.9 Cummins ISB. I usually cycle the key 3 or 4 times after changing both fuel filters and she fires right up and purrs.
