Angry Lost power

Hello, I was wondering if anybody experienced a power lost in all front plugs running their tv, DVD, surround sound and lower plugs. I have a 2005 Monaco Diplomat 38 PDQ. I'VE CHECKED ALL FUSES BOTH INSIDE AND ON THE INVERTER. I also checked the GFI plug.

There is more than one GFI. One in the bath room, another up in the kitchen area. Mine is under the dining table. Could also have one in a basement compartment if it is equipped there for a TV connection.

Your problem does sound like a failed GFI. Press the TEST button on each GFI and make sure it is operational. GFIs do fail and need replacement from time to time.

I'm with Rex that a GFI problem is a high probably. But I will add this....

On my rig, all circuits up front (running DVD, TV, etc.) are at the tail end of the AC circuit that originates at the Inverter and passes thru the GFI in the toilet/sink portion of the bath. On its way to the front of the coach for this circuit, there are also outlets at the dinette and kitchen areas. So if there is power at these two outlets, then you may have a break in the AC path "downstream" of them. I had such a "break" .... where a wire nut (that twisted-together some 3 or 4 black wires) had come loose. Said wire nut was behind the TV.

Had power go out in plugs in bathroom, kitchen, and sitting area. The one in bath is GFI. Could not reset GFI do suspected it was problem. Bought new GFI then took the fixture out of wall and found a wire had come loose. Reattached wire and tightened others and everything worked as it should. Should have remembered the KISS principle. Now I have a new spare GFI.

Is there a relay that kills that circuit when the ignition key is turned on? If that were bad, could that be causing your headache?
