In the process of getting ready to leave in a few days I was putting satellite receiver in and shorted out an outlet. I have looked everywhere what am I missing. 07 Endeavor.

Not knowing what you consider "everywhere", it's hard to say. Have you checked all the breakers? Have you checked your inverter? Have you checked all GFI outlets?

Checked all breakers in breaker box in bedroom. Inverter only has input breaker. GFI outlet in basement is dead.

When I lost power in the front of my 07 Scepter, I found that the ice maker had a short that was popping the GFI located at the bath sink next to the shower. On my coach, this GFI controls the power to the front outlets.

The dead gfi would be the first place to look. Usually there are a couple of outlets "daisy chained" off of the first gfi in the chain. Also, since you're talking about the entertainment outlets, the inverter is likely feeding those. Are you sure you did't fry your inverter when you "shorted" the outlet installing the satellite?

Inverter seems to be fine going by display on power management panel. Probably have a gfi outlet tripped that I have not found.

Check sides and back of the inverter almost all have output breakers. Usually small round pop out type. If one is out you typically lose all the front stuff or all the kitchen stuff.

New ME 2512 magnum doesn't have output breakers.

One dead GFI...will kill multiple outlets. Time to replace the GFI with a new one! O.K. so how does one "putting away a receiver" an the same time short out your outlet? Could you do this twice? LoL.

On my 06 Endeavor, when the front outlets go out usually it is one of the white buttons on the inverter that has tripped.

I have had two issues with outlets. First time was when I lost all power to front outlets. Found out that GFI in bathroom controlled all outlets up one side, across front, and down other side to kitchen.

Next time it was a circuit breaker on the inverter. Thought it was the GFI again - not.

Good luck and safe travels.

Just looked at a photo of your ME-2512 and it looks like it has push button resets on the left side towards the rear on the lower section. I hope this helps.

Two possible answers:
1: Check the connections in the inverter.. I overloaded my inverter powered outlets once and that's where the problem lived, IN the inverter connection panel, I re-dressed the wires, re-connected, replaced old wire nut with new one, and so far (years later) wife is watching TV and I'm looking at my other computer doing a task. (Same wire)

Second option.. Since you have an inverter, there may be a second breaker box hidden somewhere post-inverter.. There is on my rig, only diff is I know where it's hidden.
