Hey guys,
My Low coolant light is on and I have checked the coolant and it is not in fact low, and the engine never runs hot. Any Ideas? Thanks

Basement Latches

Hey guys,
Does anyone have a resource for basement latches? I have one that needs to be replaced and ordered one off the internet to find out it is not the right one. Thanks

I just had the same problem. I removed the sensor ( located on top of the expansion tank) and cleaned it with an Emory cloth. I also cleaned up the wire connection to it. Have had no issues since.

Bad sensor comes to mind. Or damaged wiring to sensor

So I took the probe out of the tank and cleaned it up but no dice......Does anyone know if:

1. You can ground the switch out to test and make sure it's the switch or test it with an Ohm Meter?

2. Is this a common part available at any truck or auto parts store? Or a part number if anyone knows it?

Thanks!

Had the same issue but only when the headlights were on. Monaco service tech installed a heaver gauge ground wire. Fixed the problem,

Interesting, Mine is on all of the time and only has one wire going to it. I can't find a replacement part anywhere, everything I have researched has everyone switching tanks and having the sensor mounted on the side of the tank and not the top.

Try a "jumper" wire from the probe connection to a good solid ground location. See if light/alarm goes off.
A good ground is critical.

It does not go off when Grounded, does that mean bad wiring some where? Where do I start?

Possibly a break in the wire. Do you have a wiring diagram for your coach? I'll check mine tomorrow when I get where I'm going. Maybe I can help shed some light. I'm a retired electrician and can't help trying to solve a good mystery!

You probably have the kysor module floating behind the dash. This was in my 99 Windsor. This schematic might help. Very poor design all around.
