I have a 2002 Endeavor, where is the manual cut off valve for the LP Tank. I know it has a cut off switch, but can't find the cut off valve if it has one. Thanks Roy

Not sure on the Endeaver, but on my 01 Monaco Dynasty, it is by the kitchen sink....kind of a strange place to put it.....

Not too sure I'm understanding your question properly, but the only full cut-off valve I know of is on the tank itself just before the regulator..

If it is anything like the Nemar's, it turns the LP leak detection monitor on & off.

Roy,
On my previous coach (Dip) the valve handle was in the bay by the tank. Actually about half way down the lenght of the tank on the low side but not on the bottom. Hard to reach in my opinion.

SACS: When you open the bay door for the LP tank, there is a on and off switch for the LP gas Mounted on the end of the Tank. My question where is the manual cut off Valve if it has one. Roy

You got me!!! Normally there is a round shut off like on an old water valve. Just like you have on the 5 gallon tanks. I don't have a clue why you wouldn't have one. I thought that they were required, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Mine is right on the end of the tank where the door opens. Same place that you refill it, just lower (on the bottom) of the tank.

I agree with RotorWing. All 3 MH that we have owned had an internal switch that would electrically close off the propane flow if there was a leak, (we referred to them as sniffers) but all of them also had a manual shut-off on the tank.

I have a small knob next to the bottom of the tank about middle ways, this knob has groves in it like you could use pliers to turn it, but they are no cut off valve that you can turn by hand like was on my old gasser. Roy

Roy,
I just checked a 5 gallon tank and the knob is removable, just like a water shut off is..Sounds like someone decided they did not need it and took it off. Personally, I leave mine turned on all the time but the guys that come to fill it always shut it off before they will fill the tank.

On it there was a manual slide switch. When you turned it off, it also shut off the propane flow - just like it would if it detected a leak. We would keep the switch off while storing the coach and flip it on while using it. It was necessary to have the detecter turned on or the propane would not flow. We didn't bother with the turn valve on the tank. When I bought the Dip last year, I was kind of curious why there wasn't an internal switch for it.
