I have a 1991 crown royal 36' with 250hp 8.3 cummins. Iam thinking about buying a 1996 excutive 38' with 400hp m-11 cummins. Any pros or cons on this engine. It has 70,000 miles.

Should be good for another 300,000 miles. Change the oil as recommended and be sure to lube the drive shaft every 5,000 miles.

I bought a new Ford Louisville in 1995 with an M11 and 10 speed. It had 370 h.p. and would go to 400 h.p. if cruise control was used. It was a very good engine. Pulled a 35 foot tridom grain trailer. It had close to 1/2 million miles when I sold it. Trouble free during my ownership. I know medium duty truckers with 1,000,000 miles on their M11s.
