magnashade magnets?

I have a NOS MCD windshield screen and would like to modify it to use the magnet style mount.

Anyone have the specs on them, I know you can't get them from several sources but not sure how strong is needed. Looking at the 1X3/8 @ 32lb pull.

Is this a screen that goes on the exterior? We have Magneshades and they use two magnets, one sewn into the shade and another on the inside of the windshield.
