I own a Beaver Monterey on a Magnum chassis and would like to know where I can get information and parts for this. I was told that the Monterey was built by Monaco in "02".

As far as I know Monaco RV LLC is still the best resource for your coach. I would give them a call.

Myway09...first of all- Welcome to iRV2! I looked at your profile to see if you owned a 2002 Beaver - but it lists another brand...so I take it that you just got your Monterey?

You did hear correctly - Monaco did start building the Beaver brand in 2002 - which make you eligible to become a member here on the Monaco Forum!

What type of information are you looking for? The members here are very willing to help with any information you may be looking for...and as far as parts - well, let me say there are a few different places that you may want to look - again...depending on what type of parts. (One of the favorite places that I know of is NorthWest RV Supply )

We do hope you go ahead and ask away..whether it be about how to fix something or where to find a part....again - welcome to iRV2 and the Monaco Forum! We hope you visit & post often!

Here is a link to the Beaver Ambassador Club which can give you advice and link you to parts and such. The Magnum Chassis was used until 2003 as I recall and then went to the Monaco Chassis. Here is the link:

I forgot to mention that the BAC is a great organization and has Chapters throughout the Country. The newer Beavers are totally "Monacoized" for the most part but I think your rig still has a lot of Safari Beaver in it despite the Monaco Ownership at that time. If it was built in Bend that is a strong clue. BAC asks that you join FMCA as you affiliate with them. I am not much of a Chapter/Rally person but the tech stuff has repeatedly been beneficial. They also have a nice newsletter. As a Beaver Owner I have always felt welcome by Monaco people but there is a difference.
Good luck with you Beaver. I am definitely no expert but if I can help, just yell!

Just a little more info on the Magnum chassis.
I HAVE 2003 Safari Sahara Motor home that was built on a Magnum chassis.
I took it in for the trail arms recall I was pleasantly surprised when Creative Coach in Florida informed me that the trail arms on this Magnum chassis looked well made and did not have to be replaced as I was initially led to believe.
He said they were much stronger than the ones that needed to be replaced. I thanked him for saving me about 3,000 dollars.
It appears that when my coach was built they were still using Safari technology.

The manual for our 2003 Safari Sahara says" Magnum chassis BY Road Master",We were told Monaco wanted to get the name Road Master out there.
Yes the trailing arms are hugh.
