Magnum Energy Panel Backlight is on, But no Display

Our Magnum energy panel backlight is on, but there is no display. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

If you are referring to the Remote mounted inside the coach then take out the four screws and pull the unit out. At the back is a RJ-11 phone plug. Remove that plug for about 30 seconds and then plug back in. See if that fixes your problem. If not then you may have a bad cable. Also try unplugging that cable at the inverter.

Another troubleshooting technique is to go the inverter. You will find the other end of the cable that is plugged into the remote display. Doing this from memory, so I may not get the terms exactly correct. Just above where the cable is currently plugged in is a second connector labelled Net or Network if I remember correctly. Plug the remote into the Net port. See if it displays data. If it displays data, you have a bad board in the inverter. If it doesn't display data you are in need of a new remote display. Magnum Tech Support is very good at helping you isolate problems of this type.

Thank you, problem fixed.

Thank you. I unplugged the cable for a minute, then plugged it back in and the display reset itself.

Opened electrical bay( outside drivers nose area of coach). Looked at Magnum AGS module it had no green led on. Genny was runny at the time.

Look on the inverter for a circuit breaker. It may be a small push in button or it may look like a switch. Make sure it has not tripped

Will do Mike, the other question, what's causing the inverter to trip?
