We own a 2004 40ft Monaco Executive. Several months ago we noticed that the large passenger side slide out would slip out slightly at the bottom when the unit has been stored for a while. Then we experienced the slide "dragging" and scraping the tile on the in and out movement. Do you know how or if you can make adjustments to slides to correct this problem?

I don't know if there is a way to adjust but last year that same slide on my Sig tore the bottom seal. Took it to Buddy Gregg in Knoxville and found that even though Monaco had put a residential fridge in that slide out, they neglected to put a 2nd roller at the bottom of the slide. Long story short, Monaco told Buddy Gregg that they did put 2 rollers on some coaches but not always. Due to the extra unsupported weight, the fridge side of the slide had broken loose from the top supports and was just sliding on the coach frame.
Gregg installed a 2nd roller and reinforced the flimsy top support and all ok now. Fortunately, my extended warranty covered this.
Yours may not be the same problem but I would suggest looking at the bottom side of that slide and see if it has marks where it is sliding on the frame.

Hydrulic or rack and pinion slides?

On Power Gear Rack & Pinion there is a lever on the motor that manually releases the brakes. I fit's set to "Release" then it can slide out without proper cause (Finger on button)

On hydraulic units there are valves that can fail.. Please do not ask how I know that they can cost well over 100 bucks each.
