Can a rear bedroom slide be retracted manually? We own a 07 HR Scepter with four slides, model 42PLQ. My rear roadside slide (with mattress on it) sometimes is slow to retract. Sounds like the track and motor might need adjusting. Have a visit scheduled next week.

However, if the slide would not retract using the motor can it be manually retracted. And if so how is it done? Thanks.

On my Camelot the manual states
The slide out motor is located under the bed
Lift bed and remove access panel
Disconnect 12 volt power supply from motor
With 5/8" wrench turn shaft on motor to retract slide
Once retacted apply pressure to wrench to firmly set the room
Take to repair center

srx-6,
Thanks for the reply. Don't have the manunal, but makes sense. Had the slide motor/track adjusted and that fixed the problem. Got to go get me the manual.
