We are deciding between 2002 HR Vacationer 30ft and 1997 Beaver Monterey. Can't find the actual length and width of the 1997 Beaver Monterey Model 3004.
Any info or comments would be appreciated. thanks

The 1997 Beaver Monterey 3004 is 30 feet as stated in this link. I also verified the same info in this link.

Thanks MonacoMama. I think the 30ft measurement is used loosely in advedrtisements. We did a rough measurement tip to toe when we first saw it and I think we were at 301/2-31. We have tight parking and wanted to verify it but can't find anything in original pamphlet from Beaver or online search.

Something to think about. That Beaver is a total ophan. I don't think in 1997 that Monaco even built it. It might be hard to get parts. Beavers are great coaches and beutifully built but still an orphan.

RV's and especially MHs are "assembled" with parts purchased from companies all over the country. About the only things RV manufacturers actually build are body parts and cabinets. You should have no problem getting replacement parts for anything on your RV no matter the age. That's my opinion.

BTW, Beaver was an independent company located in Bend OR. If my memory serves me correctly, they were bought by Safari in the late 1990s then Monaco bought Safari which included Beaver.

Thanks Mike, My husband is leaning toward the Beaver DP and I was leaning toward the newer HR Vacationer. Both are 30ft, the HR has 2 slides and there is a leak in the bedroom slide and a very must smell in that room. I'm concerned there might be mold. Lots to consider.
