Just in case you were asleep for awhile FMCA now has the Michelin discount in place. I am still waiting for the GoodYear rep to look at my tires. I have written ( in thejhard drive of my mind) a whole story about the G670's but I will hold off until Wed. when the rep has promised to look at the tires. I expect them to adjust the tires the same as they would a tire that grew bulges! I know I am dreaming but I am leaving no stone unturned. I did speak to a rep on the consumer side and she simply stated that rivering is not warrantied as it is normal wear. I asked her if truckers replace their tired every 25,000 miles. No answer. Stay tuned!

I bet they will tell you that your front and rear is out of alignment.

Could you post picture of your rivering?
Does it cause a shimming or out of balance ride?

Is it wearing even on both outer sides?
Is yours down to the wear bars at 25,000 miles?

Have you weighted all 4 corners of the MH and carry 10 PSI over the recommended chart PSI?

If non of the above what problem is it causing?

29,000 miles on my 6 year old 275/70/22.5 G670's with some outside wear on all 6. But they have many miles to go before they will ever hit the wear mark.
DOT Dates: 1505 and 1605 on them

I have a set of G670's on my 2001 Mountainaire. They are in excess of 6 years old and have 21k miles. They show virutually NO wear. I do keep them covered, even on an overnight and have never used any dressing. The tires were inspected Monday the 25th of July by a local tire store with a "good to go". I will replace them next year, probably with another set of G670s.

I have the G670 tires on my RV they also are 6 years plus, They are original when coach was new, almost 25000 miles. Still look as new, keep them covered when in parks. Motor home is stored inside when at home. Will replace next year with same.

I will try to post a picture later this week. Yes I have individual wheel weights. Pressure is about 7 lbs. over what is required. No balance problems. The wear pattern is at both outer edges. That is the definition of rivering Only on front tires. No alignment issues. Coach is kept inddors 6 months of the year and I have cxonveyor belting between the tires and the concrete. I am glad that some have had good luck with G670's. However I would suggest you do a Google or go to any Monaco forum or RV.NET and read the stories from other RV'rs. Many hundreds of posts. This is a KNOWN iussue with those tires. They do not have a decoupling groove and that is the result. They are so bad that a few years ago Tiffin got tired of fighting with Good Year. He ended up buying Michelins for many owners and stopped using the GoodYears.
