Allegro5,
Many times there is an AC receptacle in close proximity to the microwave. Did you test this receptacle thinking that it also feeds the microwave? You may have two different circuits here.

If you have an Inverter (to run AC equipment such as TVs from your house battery bank), then your microwave may be powered by/through and circuit-breakered at the Inverter itself. So check to see if you have a tripped breaker there.

If it will run from the inverter then check the breakers on the inverter.

If the power cord for the M/W is easy to access, you can plug it into another outlet to confirm that the M/W is working properly.

I need to send out a big and hearty thank you to folks like you guys who take the time to respond to these questions. I'm a total noobie regarding motorhomes and I hadn't known about checking the circuit breaker on the inverter, i.e. the rocking switch thingy on the grey box.
My microwave is now working and Gloria thinks I'm a hero!
I sure hope the original requester has the same success.

Two suggestions depending on the meaning of HOT.

If you mean LIVE (Electrically hot) Then the microwave has an internal fuse. Or should (Might be a breaker) breakers can be reset from outside, fuses are internal.. usually a standard fuse you can get at any hardware store and many gas stations.

If by hot you mean degrees (F) or (C) (or K or whatever the other one is)

Replace the outlet.
