Thank you for all the comments I read. I tried to compare Camelot and dutch star. After reading this thread, I realize I should be more careful in buying my next motorhome. I'll do more research. Thank you again.

Caveat - I was told this by a salesmen at LazyDays trying to sell a 2007 Camelot. I called to inquire about a unit they had advertised - a 2007 Camelot. I mentioned that I was also speaking to someone about a 2006, and he said that the 2006 and earlier units had a problem in the front cap. He said that Monaco had reinforced the superstructure starting in 2007 to correct a problem where the windshield would pop out.

I wound up buying a 2006 Beaver on the S-Series chassis, mostly because it had the package I wanted (4 slides, tag, 525 hp diesel, aquahot), but I liked the added stiffness from the all steel structure. Who knows if it makes a difference, but I hit a REALLY bad set of pumps on the Trans Canada just west of Field BC last week (if you have been through there lately you will know what I'm talking about). Nearly bounced the front and rear off the ground - and it opened the hood on my Suburban! Scared the heck out of us. Nothing moved inside the coach.
