We have a 2006 Camelot Model 40 PDQ. Did these coaches NOT come with a built in whole coach Water Filter? One guy I spoke with says his has one but it's buried inside the basement and must be reached thru a small opening inside one of his storage bays.

I've checked mine and can't find a filter anywhere.

My 2004 Monaco has an inline filter below the sink in cupboard. It supplies the drinking faucet only. I also have one that goes to kitchen sink tap for cold water. It is type that shoves up from bottom turns to lock, it also is below sinks in cupboard. I had all the white plastic shield out of my wet bay, no filters in their. Hope this helps.

The 2006 Camelot brochure makes no mention of a "whole house" water filter as standard or optional equipment.

I have a Camelot 2006 PDQ and on mine the filter is located behind a wood grill located in the kitchen sink cabinet. There are two wood screws that must be removed to remove the grill. The filter can be purchased at Wally World.

Bob,
Open the pass through bay, in front of the wet bay. On the rear wall is a removable panel to gain access to the water pump. Monaco put mine in there, laying on it's side. Go figure.

This should be the "drinking water" filter for the small spiget on the sink, not a "whole house" filter. A whole house filter would need to be somewhere near the fresh water inlet.
