May be someone can give me some insight to a voltage problem I'm having with my '06 monaco knight. 12v DC interior has very low output. When the 12v DC ground switching solenoid/relay is jumped all 12v interior devices function properly. Since the 12v interior devices worked when I jumped the solenoid I replaced the solenoid thinking the solenoid was the cause. Replacing the solenoid did not fix the problem. Not sure if I've reconnected the wiring correctly. The solenoid has two stud connections for 3 (red) wires. I connected 2 of the wires on the battrey side together and one on the house side, is this correct.
battery connections have been cleaned and tightened.

Not sure what device you are referring when you say 12v DC ground switching solenoid/relay. Is a large solenoid located in the front run bay which is located below the drivers window? Or is the large solenoid in the battery compartment which can be used to connect the house and chassis batteries together?
If it is the one in the front that solenoid is generally referred to as the salesman solenoid since it is controlled by a switch near the front door that will turn off all lighting in the coach that a salesman can use after showing the coach. If this is the solenoid you replaced many people including me have permanently by passed the solenoid by connection the wire on both studs together with a single bolt. There are a number of threads on the salesman switch on this forum just do a search.

RVKnight, If you provide the location and model number of the relay in question, someone might be able to identify the problem.

Did you jump across the solenoid after changing it? If the lights got bright then you need a voltmeter on the control terminals of the solenoid to find out where the control voltage is. The other issue could be that you wired the solenoid incorrectly.

More information and a picture would help resolve in a few minutes.

Could the be the "Batteryboost" solenoid that connects both house and chassis electrical circuits? Juts a guess.

Thanks for your reply. It is the solenoid locted in the front running bay. I will bypass and see if this resolves the issue. Thanks, again
