I own a 2007 Monaco Diplomat SKQ. It has a side aisle past the bathroom with two floor to ceiling windows facing the bathroom door. I seem to have problems with the AC units staying on and not turning off. The AC temperature sensor is located in the hallway across from these two windows and I think it may be an issue of it being too hot in the hallway because of these windows so the AC units think the setting temperature hasn't been reached. Has anyone else had this problem? If so any ideas on how to fix it? I not sure if it may be a sensor problem either.

This might be a case of monaco's learning from their mistakes?
I have the same floorplan in an 08 knight.
Temp sensors are in front of the curb side slide, by the pass. Seat, and behind the drivers side bedroom slide.
Temp control is fine no matter how much sun comes in those big windows.

Many of us have moved our temp sensors to better locations. For example my Zone 1 sensor was under the TV above the dash and in the heat from the windshield. Bad place, so I moved it further back in the coach. My rear sensor was on the back wall of the bedroom another warm spot. I disconnected this sensor and now Zone 2 uses the main thermostat controller in the hall to regulate the Zone 2 AC & heat.

There was a thread on this blog were us guys were lamenting that Monaco installers placed the temp sensor (the tip-end of the wire....the thermistor) in the wall void. By not placing the thermistor correctly, it wasn't measuring the actual room temperature....but rather the temperature of the void.
Randy: did you find this condition as well?

I did not have that problem. My sensors were both outside the wall area and even insulating the holes did not help my problems.

Randy, has anybody spoken to Monaco about the AC issue? We also have two jack russells. They own the motorhome.

The Monaco Corp that built your motorhome (and mine) no longer exists.
Monaco LLC, a division of Navistar, is kind enough to provide us with some parts and tech support, but they have no liability at all.
