HI EVERYONE,I HAVE A MONACO DIP.275 WHEN I START ITUP THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON THEN GOES OFF AND COMES BACK ON AND STAYS ON.THE MOTORHOME SEEMS TO RUN OK BUT THE LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF CAN ANY BODY HELP ME WITH SOME IDEAS THANKS CAROL

Your engine has sensors that report back to the ECM. When your check engine light comes on there is a fault being loged into the electronic control module. You can have someone plug a code reader into the diagnostic port and it will tell you why your light is comming on. Most of the time its just a bad sensor or a fluid level is low.

Just saw a post on the Monacoers site that talked about the check engine light staying on. It was for a ISC 330 engine and turned out the engine speed sensors were bad. He had it fixed at a Cummings dealer cost was $380.00 parts and labor.
