Monaco DP lineup
Hi folks, I'm in the initial stages of researching a DP coach and Monaco is high on the list. But I'm having difficulty determining the model lines from the high end models to the more affordable models. My budget is in the $100,000 to $125,000 range and we want a DP, so am probably looking at '06 to maybe '09 around 40'.
I want to stay 40' and under to allow us access to most govt parks, but I know that may be difficult at some parks. I think we would be comfortable living part time in a coach in the 38 - 40' range.
So if someone would please list the Monaco models around the '06 to '09 time frame I would be most thankful.

I have a fiend who has a 08 Camelot 40ft. He is asking around 115,000. It is a 4 slide, stored inside. Has almost new Bridgestone tires. 19.000 miles. Very clean in and out, no pets no smoker.
PM me at philcarrell@yahoo.com for more info.

For me, the sweet spot is the Dynasty. Many come with AquaHot (love it!), air leveling (no jacks!), solid wood cabinetry and other options. Looking on RVTrader, quite a few fall in your price range. Good luck!

Good list - however, the Knight and the Diplomat should be "flipped" to keep it in proper order by "affordability". The Monaco Knight (and sister coach Holiday Rambler Ambassador) were the entry points into their DP product line. The Monaco Diplomat (and HR Endeavor) were the next rung up on the ladder.

I think the Diplomat was a higher priced coach than the Knight, and likely the model that would fit in your budget range.
The sister Holiday Rambler model would be the Endeavor.
edit.... The spaceman beet me to it

From our research back in 2006/07 that was my findings as well. The Dynasty seemed to be the best "bang for the buck" in terms of getting some higher end amenities yet still a little lower priced that the Exec or Sig. Although had I been able to find the right Exec or Sig for the budget I would have loved to have that ISM in a 40 foot coach.
We have had our 2003 Dynasty since early 2007 and love it. Just turned over 107k miles and pushing towards that 200k mile mark.
Mike.

Thanks Guys.
How does the Cayman fit into the lineup.
Is the Holiday Rambler just a sister to the Monaco lines? From what I can determine the Holiday Rambler line up:
Navigator
Imperial
Scepter
Endeavor SE
Neptune
Endeavor
Ambassador
In general is the Holiday Rambler equal to the Monaco in most regards, for example the HR Navigator = to the Monaco Signature?
And what do the 3 letters following most Monaco coaches mean, for example in the Knight line up: PDQ, SKQ, DEF, PBD, PBT, etc. Monaco seems to carry these 3 letters throughout their lines.
