Hello all,
I’m looking to buy a new upper and lower radiator hose for our 1996 Dynasty, but I don’t have any part numbers to reference. I called Monaco but unfortunaltely they told me they couldn’t provide any part numbers either. Oh well! Anyway, has anyone done that replacement recently and can you offer any part numbers. We have the Cummins mechanical C8.3 engine. Thanks. - Tom

On my 1995 Monaco w/8.3 Cummins the lower radiator hose is about 2-3' of 4" generic straight hose as I remember. The upper hose is Gates 21393.

I read somewhere that you do not want to use a silicone coolant hose.

Take your old hoses to a GOOD autoparts store and they can match them. If your unit uses straight hoses you may end up at a truck parts store. On edit: Gates has an amazing web site where you can dowload the entire HD hose catalogue and match them yourself.

Not sure about a 96, but the parts list I have says the 99-02 Dynasty 2 1/4" ID Bottom hose is Carquest # 20401

Also silicone hoses are available from www.siliconehose.com

Also listed are:

S shaped hose from thermostat outlet to pip to front of radiator NAPA # 8090

45 degree hose off block to tube to rear bottom of radion Cummins 3920762

some hoses are sold by the foot, 2 1/2 ID Dayco 77250GL

What would be the advantage or disadvantage of using silicone radiator hoses? I always thought silicone hoses were the BEST and lasted forever.
