Thinking of touring the Monaco/Holiday Rambler Factory in May and was wondering if anyone has been there and if it was worth the time and trouble?

Also, do they have any area to stay in the motorhome (preferably with hook-ups) ?

Thanks for any help.

We haven't been up there since they reopened but it is a nice area to visit if you haven't been before. Lots of great Amish places to eat and the Shipshewana flea market is really interesting.

I did get a chance to stop out at the new Service Center in Wakarusa a month or so ago with my new to me 2000 Diplomat. They were very helpful and took care of what I needed. The techs were some of the original assembly folks from days of yore. I will definitely go back for more work some day.

I did not try to tour the manufacturing facilities. I understand they are working on a "campground" for us so we have a place to stay when visiting. I was able to hook up to electric overnight in a fenced in area next to the service center, while we were waiting to get in the next morning.

Called today and spoke with the factory in Indiana. Tours are available Monday thru Friday @ 2 pm. No reservations necessary. They will have facilities for 13 units with 50 amp service in the Spring. Sewer is available. I was told that by Spring both gas and DP's will be in production @ the factory in Indiana.

Thanks for the replies!

Rambler Pushers Chapter 419 are having a Maintenance Rally in May and I think they are doing a tour of the new plant. You can find their web site by Googling Rambler Pushers Chapter 419.
