Monaco Knight 40PLQ

Greetings and Hallucinations,
We are newbies to the forum and I have a question. We have just purchased and moved into an '07 Knight 40PLQ. There are 4 cables attached to the rear roadside slide out (wardrobe). One at each corner. Does anyone know what function the cables perform? Any guesses would be appreciated!

The cables run the slide in and out. Watch them for wear. I have a 2007 HR Ambassador (sistership to your coach) they have been trouble free on mine.

I have a 07 Knight and have had no problems with cables.

It's a system that moves the slide nicely without it leaning or rocking while moving. There are actually 8 cables, 4 that you see outside to pull it in, and four inside that pull it out.
