Well put. Our Monaco manual (once again, may differ from other Monaco manuals) has a commandment against operating slides with jacks deployed. One of our slides is hydraulic and shares the Lippert system with the jacks. I don't know if previous MCC coaches had more than one hydraulic system, but a friend's Winnebago did have two systems. Perhaps Lippert doesn't want their unit to provide hydraulic power for two systems at once, since their manifold requires switching. Its automatic but I can imagine difficulties with two systems engaged at the same time. Another reason to follow our (your) manual when leveling.

We went to Rayburn in Texas and it was really bad. If my daughter hadn't texted me and told me to bring extra leveling blocks I would have been screwed. There was about a 10" difference in elevation between the front tires and rear tires. Took quite a while to get it level and the back tires were barely on the blocks. Thank goodness I brought chock blocks for the front tires. I would say I am pretty much disabled and I spend a lot of time reading this and I can't believe some of the things I did that I am not supposed to.

And yet, both you and the motorhome somehow survived.
