Definition of "Potluck" -Also called potluck supper, potluck dinner, potluck lunch. a meal, esp. for a large group, to which participants bring various foods to be shared.

With that being said- How about a Potluck on Sunday the 18th??

Soo...with that being said..I am putting up a sign-up list as to who might bring what type of dish. Please plan on serving a minimum of 8 ...Do we want to do a "theme type" meal for the potluck??

We may not be able to make the potluck on the 18th because we were thinking about driving over to Blythe that day to attend the Bluegrass Festival

I have company in town until I put them on the plane Tuesday morning, the 20th, so I won't be arriving until late afternoon on same day. I guess I'll just have to settle for a salmon dinner later in the week, as the leftovers may be getting stale. Sorry I'm no help with the potluck.

Aloha,

I'll make cheesy potatoes as a side dish. If it turns out we need more of something else rather than a side, let me know and we'll switch or bring both.

Looking forward to meeting all.

Gee

Looks like Jeri and I will be able to get away from Bakersfield for a few days. We should get there the afternoon of the 17th so we would be happy to bring a pasta main dish for the 18th. Because of Granddaughter baby sitting duties we will have to leave by the 22nd. This should give us time to meet all the IRV2 folks and see the sites at Quartsite. Please save us a spot.

I make a good Chile Verde type of main dish. We will bring that and some tortillas, etc.

I think we've finally nailed down the dates we'll be at Quartzsite. Looks like we'll be arriving the afternoon of Friday the 16th and leaving Monday morning. So we'll be there for the potluck. No one has signed up to bring a dessert yet, so put us down for that. Probably raspberry bars.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Keeping on the (sort of) healthy side, we'll bring a broccoli/cauliflower salad. It's got some healthy, some not-so-healthy stuff in it.

Before we take the featured designation off of this one and let it slip away, I just want to make a few comments on tonights pot luck. If you were in the area and didn't come down and check it out, you missed one super spread. Ladies and gentleman you are some great cooks. Awesome is the only word to describe tonights supper.
Thank you everyone for letting Cheri and I join in we are having a great time and I will remind you all later in the year about next years reunion.
