Ang and I arrived at the rally yesterday and got all set up. We are in the "E" section (for Electrical), right by the beginning of the "chair lift". (No - seriously).

We have met a few people already (setting up an internet satellite dish is a good way to make friends quickly ), and went to a dinner last night put on by Paul Everett's RV for their customers. We tried to make up for their lack of help with our coach problems by drinking a lot of their free cocktails and eating mass quans of mexican food. Both were delicious

If anyone is here, or on their way, let me know and we can get together somewhere - possibly at one of the many evening functions.

OOOoooooOOOOHHHH ...You just love making me miserable, don'tcha!!! So not only do I have to put up with SacsTC being away from home....but NOW I have to hear about the Monaco pre-rally TOO! Lord, what did I do wrong to deserve this???

I can tell you that Teofff (correctly known as Bruce) and his lovely wife Gloria (she is especially lovely - but that's because she & I are soo much alike! ) will be pulling into the pre-rally on Tuesday - after droppping off some Pork Hash to SacsTC. (They will be at the "Valley of the Rogue" state park in Oregon tonight)

Their new puppy is soooo cute...even cuter than the picture that is posted on my IRV2 Blog!
I should tell them to watch for the Knight that has all the satellites set up around it. You will like them...and they have a built in playmate for Malabar!

Well, continue having fun without me - but just know - I have the better weather today!

Well...I am not sure how far the Teofff coach is going to make it today ...
..I received a call a while ago saying that "CoachNet" was a great experience (if you can say that NEEDING to call them is considered to be a great experience). They stopped for fuel at a FJ north of Sacramento and a short time later the coach started driving funny. They did double check the receipt- it was diesel...so I don't know what it could be...

OK...NOT good for Bruce & Gloria (Teofff) something like "2 push rods & rocker arms" They will probably be there at the shop in "Corning" at least till Wednesday.

Wish them well.. because if anyone knows about Corning... you know it is NOT a destination location ...but it is also 2 hours back to here.

Also ..let's hope the Monaco Rally people will refund their money - since they won't be able to attend the pre-rally...and it will come in handy to help pay for some of the repair bill...
I can guarantee they were on their way to the Hee-Haw rally..cuz who in their right mind would stay in Corning!

Ahmen to those Corning, CA remarks Mama! But while the broken MH is bad news, and will be expensive ...there was some good news..right here in Corning, CA...we went to the Casino for breakfast, and lo and b'hold...it is two for one day...two buffets for only $7.95...maybe our luck is changing
They fixed the pac brake leak today, and parts (see my post on the Diamond Hills post) are SUPPOSED to be here tomarrow...so, if that solves our problem, we could be back on the road Thursday. If we are, we will head to the FMCA rally from here! We are not giving up!!!!

Hey Bruce, is there any chance that your coach had a late in-service date and is under warranty for the engine???

Hey Kev,
Have those people in Salem fixed that AC/elect problem yet??? You have two chances at the rally as the AC folk should be there in addition to Monaco. With all the AC/electrical problems you have had, I think I would get both of them over there to try to find out what the heck is going on!!! Maybe they will even take back those warranty parts you have stored and replace them too.
