Monaco slide rooms
I am having a problem with my slides on my 05 Monaco Signature 42. The hydraulic pump doesn't start when I try to extend or return the slides. I have to have someone hold the generator slide switch in order to get the hydraulic pump running. Any help greatly appreciated.

Could be a number of things, try opening and closing cargo doors, might have a bad switch. Also try tapping on electrical solenoids (if your rig has them) while someone has finger on switch.

Each switch provides current to the pump and the appropriate solenoid when activated. If it’s not activating with several switches I would suspect a power loss feeding all switches. Did you check the fuses?

More details please. Does the generator slide work normally?

I have a similar issue but my pump runs and the solenoids don’t open. Only the generator slide works as it should. Mine is an Intellitec issue and I have an appt with M&M electronics when I pull the Coach out of hibernation

Might want to give M&M a call. They are very helpful over the phone.

Generator slide works as normal. I understand that there is a control box inside the generator opening on the passenger side that controls the slides but I don't know how the power is supplied.

Do you have a number where I can reach M&M? I'm afraid my problem is one of the circuit boards in the generator compartment.

Here is there phone number tel:386-738-8135. There are two others listed on their website also.
Yes the HWH box is in the front passenger side behind the generator door. It Isha a clear glass cover on it. You can check the fuses in there but I think you will find that they are all fine. This system receives signals from the Intellitec modules that are likely mounted behind a door in your rear clothes closet. Your switches are connected to these modules and then the the modules send signals to the HWH box in the front. Complicated system. My only solution ended up being scheduling an appt in the Spring to bring my Coach to M&M in Ohio.

Do you have Carling type switches or the newer Intellitec system? You said it was an 05 Sig but profile states 06 Exec, important because that’s the year they switched over. I have the wiring diagram for an 05 and there’s no control box. Since the issue is with all slides but the Gen, it could be a faulty parking brake switch or with 5 amp fuse #11 in FRB. If it’s an 06, not sure.
There is also a 7.5 amp fuse in the RRB that feeds some sort of lockout relay, possibly for the bay doors.

Thanks to all that answered. I was hoping for a simple repair but it looks like a complicated problem. Luckily I have a good tech in my area. Just replaced the Big Boy relay when this new problem popped up. My coach is the 05 Signature with 60 series Detroit. I think the switches are Intellic. I think Monaco made the driver side bedroom electric because the electric breakers are in a panel that you would not be able to reach if you have a problem like mine. I had a tripped breaker and fortunately I was able to extend the slide and reset it.

Sounds like your setup is the same as mine. The Intellitec system is complex and a computer with their software is needed to diagnose in many cases. I hope they can help you over the phone and you don’t need to drive to Ohio like I do [emoji35]

Nothing yet, still hoping someone will have a quick answer. If not I will take it in for service in the next couple of weeks.
