Monarch Basement Hose Question

We have a new to us 2007 Monarch 33SFS, Workhorse chassis. In the driver's side basement storage compartment just forward of the refridgerator there is about a 1/2" plasic tube with a small ball valve. Can anyone tell me what this is for?
The only thing mentioned to me by an RV mechanic was, it may be used for winterizing to pull antifreeze into the lines via the water pump. Sounds to me like a very strange placement for that function. Only other thought I had was a refer drain; we do not have an ice maker.

The easy way to tell is get a gallon jug of clean water and see if the pump draws from the jug with the valve open. Very likely is for winterizing.

If this is a valve open to the outside, and would drain to the outside, it could be a "low point" drain that one would use when winterizing. If you have a line for pulling antifreeze into the system, it should be in the water bay.

I don't think you met an "rv mechanic"

Also could be a fresh water drain...open it and find out...can't hurt if it drains to the outside.

Unknown Hose

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately the dealer had winterized the coach so we have no water at this time. The hose in question just has a pigtail after the valve, which is just wrapped up in the bay. We may put in water this week so will test then.

Maybe snap a couple of pictures and attach. Someone will see and know something. 1000 words right ? Good luck.

The line in question is pressurized water. It really looks like a factory install, but probably not.

Maybe the previous owner had installed an ice maker in the cargo bay?
