Monitor Problem

I own 03 Beaver, Monterey. I have some issues with back up camera,it doesn't work & I noticed some information on speed &m.p.g. don't make sense. Its a Sony monitor with Aladdin Control. Can anyone tell me if there is any place or anyone that I can take it to that can correct the problem.People in Decatur told me that they don't know how to correct it. Thanks

Have you checked to see if the monitor is getting power. Could be a simple fix, but you have to start somewhere?

"georgiann no".....Many coaches have the Aladdin system, but unfortunately they are obsolete and not repairable.

This company is making a replacement system so that those with the old Aladdin system can retrofit a new program. VMSpc | SilverLeaf Electronics, Inc.

There should be a controller box for the Aladdin, likely under the dash, that directs the input from the various info sources to the monitor via the joystick. You can bypass the controller and plug the camera directly into the monitor to see if it's the monitor or something else. That's what I have done since my joystick failed. I added the Silverleaf System to cover the other coach functions.

Georgiann no, I have had lots of issues with my aladdin system and have recently gotten it to work. Mine had been messed up by the po and really not even hooked up when I bought the coach. My rear camera was working only because the aladdin VCM was bypassed. My driver joystick was acting up also but I was able to take it apart, clean the contacts inside and now it works perfectly. A few more details about what yours is doing may help me to diagnose your issues. If you would want to discuss what it is doing sometime just pm me with a way to get in touch and I would be willing to help if I can.
