Moving flip-up table behind Pax seat???

Prior owner removed the 2 cocktail chairs behind the pax seat, which flank a flip up table, and replaced it with a recliner. I like the recliner but the table moves it towards the rear and it crowds the dinette. Would like to move the table 18 inches forward. Rear screws look easy, top screws will have to have the flip hinge removed (hopefully they didn't also glue it plus 3 screws), but the front attachment vexes me as there is a false panel that runs the wire for the electric outlet, that has no visible method for removal. Anyone had any success/failure in trying to relocate this table. Thanks in advance
