Might have missed it in the file cabinet that came with the Endeavor, but do the R&L side rear view mirrors swivel at the base to enable them to fold flat to the body? If so how? If not, why?

BTW, I really like this message board! I can ask questions here about my RV and get really good and accurate responses!... ah, it's great to have a RV info "home"!!!

The mirrors swivel for adjustment, but they don't "fold in" to give you more temporary clearance. To adjust them, you would remove the round cap from the bottom and losen the large nut with a socket wrench.

Like Robin said, Steve, they don't fold flat to the body, but there are adjustments both at the base of the mirror and at the mirror-arm/body mount. Not sure how far you want to go with them, but you might try those. I think the body mount one would have enough adjustment/travel to maybe allow you to move the mirror arms forward (kinda like a giant bug - take a picture for us if you do. heh-heh-heh) far enough to reduce overall width a bit.

Are they Velvac mirrors? If so, there should be 2 hex head set screws at the base of the arm and 1 hex head set screw at the base of the mirror. You can loosen these for adjustments.
