I put new Koni FSD's on and it improved the ride. A couple of my old shocks were doing nothing. Can't say that I have had issues with dips in the road though. Check tire pressures and be sure to lube the king pins (along with everything else). It's unlikely anything is worn out other than the shocks.

Sounds like you got a real good deal on that coach.

here is my update, after the left rear caliper got too hot and replacement of caliper, pads, brake line, seal, abs sensor and rotor the brakes worked fine for a couple weeks. I bought a new caliper and pads for the right rear and had them installed so I was sure this wheel would not get hot any longer. Drove the coach for about 10 miles and sure enough I could smell burning brakes again, but I stopped as soon as I could. it turned out that the right rear brake line collapsed causing this problem, so it may be the brake line all along. Compressed air would go through the old line a little bit in one way direction but was almost no air flow in the opposite direction. anyway I am happy with no more brakes dragging and got the coach all fixed up the way we want it. Time to go camping again.

Good luck with the new Monaco! We love ours!

I too would pass on the warranty. That's WAAAY too much for a 36-month warranty!

I bought my 2001 diplomat last year. It had new Goodyear tires. It seemed to wander on the highway. I brought it to a truck chassis shop. My alignment was out and my front tire was out of round. I had the height adjustment checked, and repacked the front bearings. Had all the wheels pulled and brakes checked. All the tires balanced. When they were done, I knew now what I was driving. I've driven 15k miles with confidence now. Also it drives straight and no more wandering. A well worthwhile check up.
Enjoy your travels and your Monaco.

In the past I ownd a travel trailer and thought it best to buy a motorhome to travel from Florida to Alaska and everything in between. I hope this was a good move as I am excited about it and scared to death that I will have to spend more money on this diesel.
I did look at passportamerica website and that looks like a good route to go, I am also retired Navy so will utilize Military RV parks also.
I joined to see what all of you are doing in your rving adventures and any advice is welcomed.
MIght try coe parks RV Camping
