Yes we love our Traeger Grill, now we won't have to leave home without it. We purchased our little Jr one at Costco. We will be using the larger one this Memorial Day for a "POT LUCK" BBQ. We will be smoking 16 slabs of beef ribs, salmon and turkey burgers for about 50 of our friends. Normally we do a 4th of July party at our home, but we will be on the road this year. For those of you who haven't heard of "Traeger" google it. You will be glad you did. deSanford

Jim I took a shelve out of one of the cabinets, and took it to Home Depot. They have a pretty good selection of wood for flooring. We purchased the one that you nail and glue to the existing wood. They sell all the trim pieces also. The sawdust you see is from cutting the table leg. Will clean that up soon. The only problem is now when someone comes inside the motorhome all they comment on is the nice wood floor. deSanford

Hi Sanford was it hard to get the sofa bed out? You will have to post a picture of the recliners.
Regards

Actually it was just one step at a time on removing the sofa bed. 1st open up and take out the 115volt air pressured mattress. 2nd take out the screws holding the sides of the sofa bed. 3rd unbolt the frame from the wood slide. 4th (forgot to mention remove cushions) have someone help you carry the frame and the back of sofa out the door. Give it away to a poor family and that's it. Last of course remove the "car" seat belts. I will do my best to get over to the motorhome and take a picture of the recliners. The GPS power cord will be dropped down to my 12 volt DC strip under the side council. Right now the power cord is hanging across the steering wheel to reach the 12 volt outlet. Nice having a hobby ........always something to do. deSanford

Hope you have better luck then I did. Took my Jr. to the campground and after the second or third day of use I got a few complaints from neighbors it was leaving the smoke smell in their RV. Can't please everyone!
Traeger makes a kit with a heat shield so you can take the legs off and use it on a table. Much easier to transport.

Well Desanford, I think You did a great job,
I like the poop idea and I have also added the 50amp. cord real in Our MH.
It makes it so easy, when the weather is a little cold and You don't have to
strain Your self to death, getting the elect. cord put inside the Mh.

You are right Chuck you don't want to transport the Jr with the legs and wheels on it. I'm working on a diamond aluminum "box" with a tray holding the Jr. Traeger with a 3" high edge. The "Box" lid will open in the center and fold down on each side. I checked with Traeger and they confirmed that with it sitting on metal I won't need the heat shield. Hope to have it built and installed behind the motor home by the 5th of June. If so I will take some pictures for all to see. The smoke does permeate any openings for sure. I think your neighbors wouldn't complain if they were invited over for some FANTASTIC smoking BBQ Chuck. My old AC Python was a struggle, but not anymore with the reel Phil. As you know it is fun to just push the switch and stand back as the reel does all the work. Everybody have a safe Memorial Day and remember the sacrifices that were made for our FREEDOM. deSanford
