I was told I need a new electrical panel located in the driver's side front basement compartment of my 07 Diplomat 40 SKQ. The one with all the fuses and relays and such. Can anyone tell me what's the actual name of this panel and where I can purchase it? I have NO POWER to my leveling jacks, mirror controls, dashboard blower motor, and the camera screen (for both the Alladin & camera's).
Many Thanks in advance!!

Tom,
Unless it caught on fire it is doubtful that you need a new electrical panel. Circuit boards can be repaired even if a trace is open. This is done by soldering an external wire to complete the circuit. Hopefully you can find a friend who is experienced in electrical diagnoses and can determine the actual problem.

I agree with nodine. Unless the panel is burned and physically destroyed it probably can be repaired. A friend experienced with electronic repair should be able to handle it. I would think a replacement panel might be expensive.

No it didn't catch fire... there is one spot on the panel where it looks as though the copper color lines have melted into each other. The person that told me "He thinks I need a new circuit board" works for a Mobile RV repair company, but (honestly) he didn't seem to be too knowledgeable about electrical issues. I have to look for someone else take it to.
Thank You for all the help, much appreciated! MR. SDENNISLEE, ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM CSI ALLEGIENCE??? I'M THINKING OF BUYING THEIR POLICY.

Fortunately (knock on wood) I have not had need of it.
So no way to offer an opinion.
My original research was favorable towards CSI.

Thank You sdennislee (and many others) for all of your extensive reseach, it surely helps us who read these treads from the knowledge of others before us.
I will have repairs made to my 07 Diplomat 40SKQ this week (hopefully) and I'll post to this forum the results of the diagnosis and repairs needed to correct my problems stated above. Again Many Thanks to all.

Here is a picture of the 08 models. What other things are not working? A common failure item is the 'salesmans" solenoid in the bottom left of the circuit board. Many people just put a jumper across the large contacts. Replacing the whole board seems implausible as an ET that does vehicle electrical things for a living,.

Thanks YC1, I have NO POWER to my leveling jacks control center, mirror controls, dashboard blower motor, and the camera screen (for both the Alladin & camera's) and also the refrigerator only works on LP.
You said... "Many people just put a jumper across the large contacts". What does the "Salesman Solenoid" do? and... What does jumping across the large contacts accomplish? Should I try that myself or get a professional involved?
Thank You very much for your help!

Grab a voltmeter if you know how to run one and measure each of the large posts on the large solenoid. They should be the same. Finding a ground in the box can be tricky. It is one of the large post but I can remember which. Put the positive lead on one of the solenoid wires, then use the negative lead to test the other large wires that come on the posts. If you do not get 12.5 volts or more then move the positive lead to the other side of the solenoid and repeat. OR, drag your shoreline cord out and up front and connect the negative lead to the ground lug on the plug. Now you have an easy ground to use.
The salesman solenoid is run by the salesman switch near the entry of the rv. This turns off many things inside that might be left on by a salesperson showing the rig.
Do a search using Salesman Switch and you should find a ton of info. Pictures included. I will do a quick search and see if I can find the jumper. There are a couple of other places that can cause similiar issues and I will check those too.
