Just looking over the paperwork to join. While at Alliance yesterday I met a couple there that supplied myself and another gentleman with everything we needed to join the Ramblin Pushers Chapter 419. Funny he was there with an identical problem...Intermittent Alternator Failure

I just thought of something....there is an alternator fail relay in the front run bay compartment--it's one of those standard relays and I believe it is labeled..I wonder if this small relay is going bad on you giving the failure...I wonder if you replace that relay with one you know is good or a new relay (you can get them at NAPA) and see what happens...this just popped into my head...

Thanks All

Looks like my problem has been eliminated. New alternator seems to have done the trick... Thanks for all the great input and suggestions!!!

Glad you got it fixed. Hope that is the last problem you have on your trip.

Did Alliance find the problem? What is your opinion on Alliance? Reason I ask is it that we recently bought an RV Port Home about 45 mi from them so when there in the winter I was planning on using them for service work.

In my opinion there is no one that knows the Monaco line better than Alliance Coach...Yes they found the problem. They have been servicing my coach since I bought it last year and I can't say enough good things about them. They have really gone the extra mile for me. Took a 2011 HR Neptune for a test ride while I was there the other day. NICE, lots if improvements. RV port home, where?

Thanks, good to know. Heard great things about them when they were Wildwood and also now that they are Alliance. Got to meet them when they came to the 419 Maintenance Session last May. Coming from NH our options are fewer than other parts of the country.

RV Port home is Citrus Highlands in Clermont.

We call Coach-Net ERS ...they have techs who know your specific rig available 24hr a day. They call us back within 15 min normally, and we are talking to someone who can truly steer us in the right direction.

I bought my first 2 HR's from Rays RV and Marine in NH. I remember the 3hr trip each way for service well...
