I can't find an Evans heater core for my '95 Dynasty. It measures 2x6x16. I refuse to give the radiator shop $250 to recore it. I believe Evans gets about $140 for new. IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT ONE please let me know where you found it! thx. Here is a quick guide for removing the heater/ac box from the front of your class A. Cut every zip tie you can see near the plastic cover. Remove all clamps holding wire looms and hoses, etc.. Dynasty's have tons of plumbing in front of the black plastic box that have to be moved out of the way to get box out. DO NOT disconnect the AC lines. Disconnect heater hoses only. Remove all electrical wires from box ie; heater door motor. There are 4 sheetmetal screws on perimeter of box you need to remove. Use the braille method! Don't remove the small nuts next to sheetmetal screws. Gently pry the box away from firewall. It was siliconed to firewall. The box will dangle from ac lines. Now you have access to back of plastic enclosure. I had mine out in less than 45 minutes.

Rick, thanks for the info about how to remove the heater core. I've filed it away for future reference. I hope I never have to use it.

Sounds like you may know something about this topic. Can you share ? My core looked like it was pulled from the Titanic !! I have a fifties Ford with a functioning heater core! No surprise!

I had to replace mine back in 07' as I remember. It was rather tedious. I gave the folks at Fridgette a call, gave them the Model and Serial number, they shipped me a new core. Hope I don't have to do that again. Good luck with yours.

I wonder why the life span on the core is so short!

Apparently, these cores are manufactured to less than a quality Spec. Your fortunate if yours lasted that long. Mine only lasted about 5 years.

In this year RV, the heating and cooling system is nothing more than what is known in the auto industry as "Add on". Ad on usually never had a lot of quality...remember the old Add on" air conditioners for cars? Upon buying my 96 and looking into it's inner workings...I wasn't very happy seeing the dash HVAC system...but oh well it is what it is
