The only things in the ECM that will trigger a STOP Engine light are zero oil pressure, over temp, and low coolant level. The STOP will cause the motor to go into a derated mode (limp home) or automatically shut down after a set amount of time. I would concentrate on just those indications first. Since the motor is cold then it is not an over temp and you looked at the oil pressure gauge so that leaves coolant level. I would check that level first and if good then pull the sensor out of the radiator fill tank and clean the probe ends. One thing of interest here is if you get a STOP engine light while driving then most of the time you can push that button under the dash that allows you to read engine fault codes and it will override the stop engine command and get you off the road.

Good catch and absolutely right.

Mike,
This button under the dash is "news to me". What is it attached to and what has to be on or off to read the codes? Thanks

I have a panel to the left of the steering wheel with a test plug and a small chrome push button to read codes when the engine is not running. When the engine is running pushing the button will bypass the automatic stop if the stop light comes on. Most 18 wheelers have this function also. We have it in our race car tow vehicle also. If you don't have or know about the bypass you might want to find out

I did get it going. I think I may of had two problems. The filter closest to the engine had no fuel in it. I changed the filter and refilled it and away it went. This really surprised me as there was fuel in the filter when I stopped the bus. I think that the fuel check valve may be starting to go or the filter had a small leak in it and it was sucking air. I was told they did have a bad batch of filters recently.
I did the computer reset, cleaned connections. I have noticed when I fuel the coach that there seems to be quite a bit of pressure when you take the cap off. I was wondering if a vent is plugged on the tank. I don't remember this happening before.
The coach ran well for the rest of the trip with the exception of reaching my destination and the coach was idling and it just stopped which is odd. It started right up and with no stop engine light.
I really appreciate the thought everyone put into this problem. I need to look into a code reader as I do not have what Mike Canter was talking about.
I did try to send a message before and I think it did not get thru do to a poor wifi signal.
Again Thank- you Steve

If you have a laptop or notebook, the VMSpc is not much more than code reader and you will love it!
