Need help again

2005 Windsor 40 PDQ All lights on the back of the coach works as normal including turn signals, brake lights, and tail lights. Wire connectors neither the 5 pin flat or the 7 pin round to the toad work. I have not been able to find where they split off from the coach lights. It started with only the left turn signal on the toad did not working. Is the 7 pin and 5 pin plugs fused at a seperate place from the coach lights? Thank for any and all replies.

Not sure this is any help but I had a problem that began the same way as you described and I found that the wires inside the cable connecting the toad and the motorhome had come loose at the toad end. Reconnected and hasn't been a problem.

I'm probably not much help, but on our '06 Dynasty, I have a drawing that shows a terminal strip TS-2 in the rear run box, and the tail, left and right turn circuits to the tow plug originate there. Unfortunately, on our '06 Dynasty that terminal strip is absent! And I've never found it, even though I've tried.

But bottom line is you might look in your rear run box for a terminal strip. On the Monaco drawing, it is a six terminal strip. Sorry I can't help more.

Did you check for power at plug on MH or at toad to see if there is power thru harness.

^^^This. If you have power at the RV plug, most likely you'll find harness connectors loose or corroded. Our harness plugs have a 'slide back' jacket that exposes the wire connector screws and I found them loose.

Usually it's a bad or missing ground to the towed vehicle.

My trailer light wire bundle connects to the coach wiring in the lower left corner of the rear electrical box.
This wire bundle is distinctive because it will have a yellow, brown, and green wire together. They will sometimes have an additional color wire in the bundle, but always have the yellow, brown and green together.

Update to my troubleshooting. Metered wires from closest connecter through plugs 5 pin and 7 pin found no resistance. Three bundles of wires go from the back of the motor home join together and go toward the front. Two of the wire bundles go to tail and brake lights on the motor home and one goes to the plugs to hook up the toad. Checked the front fuse box with no fuse labeled rear lights. Headed to Lowes at his time to purchase a wire chaser meter. Thanks for all replies. Will post what found. There should be another fuse not found for the toad lights.

Thanks everyone for their replies. Traced wiring to the fuse area in front drivers side area. Found blown fuses. Thanks again for your help.
