Need Help And Info With Our Factory Water Pump

I'm posting this in the Monaco forum because the factory water pumps in large Monaco coaches and large HR coaches are the same.......I Think!
Our pump is going out and is very noisy and takes a lot longer to pressurize and shut off. Our coach was built in 05 so the water pump is 12 yrs. old.
I would like to replace it!........Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone changed out their water pump on their coach?
Thanks In Advance

Need Help And Info With Our Factory Water Pump

I replaced my Shurflow pump with this one. Remco 55AQUAJET-ARV Aquajet RV Variable Speed Water Pump. The flow is good and it is quieter than the Shurflow. The current draw is about the same so no need to add relays or anything.

Put the same pump in as above and it was very easy to install. Bought it on Amazon.

Ken, was this pump significantly quieter than factory? Our is very noisy, still works, but would like it quieter.

John: didn't notice it being any quieter than old but our old pump wasn't very noisy.

One thing to try is to adjust pump pressure. There is a small screw in the center of the pump head, try turning this screw in 1/2-1 turn and see if it helps. I tried it and we're still pumpin'!

Our old pump was a Shurflo 2088-422-144. They listed the upgrade as model 4008-101-E65, which is what I used. The new pump has better flow and is quieter than the original. The installation was straight forward, but complicated by the tight quarters.

Water Pump Update:

Thanks everyone for the info. We found the 55Aquajet-ARV and installed it. We bought it at CW for $167.49 which was the on-line price! After a 2hr. install, We Love It! It is much quieter than the original one. Great pressure.

Thanks Again
