Need Holiday Rambler Slide-Out Motor Info.

My 2003 Holiday Rambler Admiral SE (34PBD on Workhorse W22 Chassis) factory documentation has no part references to important replacement part information such as the slide-out motors. I am looking for replacement instructions, specifications and a motor part number for the driver side slide-out motor.

I believe the motors are manufactured by Klauber Machine, who built them for PowerGear, but I can't find any label on my existing motor (It's similar to that shown only).

Some help would sure be appreciated.

Try calling Vuerinks, they were able to source a replacment for my 2002 Windsor.

Replacement is fairly easy, I believe 4 bolts that mount the motor to the bracket and the 2 bolts in the drive coupling.

When the old one was removed it did have a sticker on it with a part number. Have you looked at yours.

Jeffery....If you can't find one, post on the Monaco Owners Forum here. You'll probably get a better response.

We have an 02 Admiral on a F53 chasis. Here are three pictures of our dirver's side slide motor that failed. We bought the coach from the original owners and we were told that the motor was the original motor. We had it replaced by a local shop, and I think they may have under-sized it, as the slide is now very slow, but it does work. Hope this helps.

Turns out my 2003 Holiday Rambler Admiral SE Driver Side Slide-Out motor assembly is Powergear Motor Assembly Pt. No. 522176W, S/N 0205098888.

At some point, it was replaced by Powergear Motor Assembly Pt. No. 523983.

These have both been superseded by a Lippert replacement Motor Assembly Pt. No. 383745, with a list price of $994.45.

However, as of a few weeks ago, the Powergear Pt. No. 523983 Motor Assembly was still available on eBay for only $349.00.

What is wrong with the one you have.

When mine failed I replaced but kept the old one. About 6 months later when I had time and nothing better to do I took it apart to see what I could find. I cleaned it up good, reset the brushes, put back together and it worked.

Might be worth a try on yours.
