It's the same book. NADA isn't based on sales prices or anything that relates to current relative value of the coach. Instead, its based on an average depreciation from the price it was listed at when new. They hammer non slide units because they are less desirable, thus harder to sell. You can see that when you look at the value of even a one slide vs no slide coach in NADA. Financial institutions use them because they have to use something to determine loan values.
Your dealer is basing his statement on his experience and his desire to sell you the coach at a higher price. I was looking at a '97 Mountain Air with 17,000 miles on it and the dealer wanted $49,995 because it was low mileage. It was worth low $30's at the most and he kept that rig a long time.
