Was working in the wet-bay on our new-to-us Camelot, and finally got the 'white monster' panel out yesterday. I'd taped or hung all of the wires out of the way - including disconnecting the door-lock connector/wires - and then closed the door when I quit for the night.
Since I've been trying to attack the big issues, I hadn't had the coach long enough to wring-out all the little bugs.... one of which turned out to be that the bay-door lock didn't have a key for it.
You probably guessed it by now
. No way to get the door open this morning. But nothing a sharp drill thru the lock-cylinder couldn't fix. So I now have one more job on my fix-it list
Hence the title: "Never Ever Assume"
