This was not difficult.

We removed the 13" Sony CRT TV from the rear of our 99 Executive and installed a Haier 26" LCD TV/DVD combo on a articulating arm. This Haier was the only TV w/built in DVD that I could find that loads on the users right. There is a wall to the users left where it is mounted in the bedroom.

The articulating arm is bolted thru the solid wood closet wall w/4 carriage bolts. I used the plastic round male upper half of the pedestal that came with the TV, and had a friend make a wooden female perch that the upper half fits into and helps stabilize it. DW stained the wood to match. An adjustable bungee cord thru the closet also keeps the TV in place, but can be loosen and disconnected to allow the TV to move on its arm.

Nice looking job. I like the carved base.
