While watching TV this morning with a small electric heater running, I didn't think about it till it was too late but my wife started blow drying her hair. Needless to say we lost power but after checking all the breakers none are tripped??? We have power to most things except both TV's and all the recepticles on the drivers side of the coach. There is a GFCI outlet in the bathroom (same side) and I remember in the past that if tripped some other stuff goes out, but don't remember what. The light on the GFCI is not lit. Is it possible that the TV's and all recepticles are all tied in together and I cooked the GFCI. I've turned all breakers off then back on but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Will try to call Monaco tech support tomorrow if I can find the #. I doubt there in on Sunday

You said the GFI light is off. Have you tried to reset it? You should be able to hear an audible click when you push in the reset button. The light could be on when tripped or on when reset depending on the manufactor of the GFI plug.

I don't think it's cooked just needs to be reset. Just info you reset most gfi's at the recept. not at the breaker.

I don`t think all of these things are tied together. It sounds like you have lost a "leg".
The breaker or disconnect feeding your panel could have blow one side .If you have a meter you could check for incoming power at your panel. If you are at a CG you could ask management to check the breaker or disconnect outside. Sometimes breakers will trip and don`t always reset .Recently I repaired a trailer. I had 240vac across the load side of the breaker outside . Inside I only had 120vac to neutral and the other leg had no power. After investigating I found that the wire had blown instead of the fuse.
I guess what I am trying to say is that your problem could be from the breaker feeding your post or from the post to your panel. A volt tester can help you find this problem though process of elimation.PLEASE USE CAUTION AND SAFTEY WHEN DEALING IF LIVE CIRCUITS
Hope you get it ,let us know what the find

The GFCI will not do anything at the receptical. Test button or Reset will not work. No light on. Inverter appears to be working and charging. All breakers have been turned off then back on including the inverter. Still no power to half my outlets????

You may have to push hard on your reset button to get your GFI to reset.

How about pulling the recept to see if you have power feeding it . If you do, most likely the recept is bad. A lot of times if the installer uses the push-in connection instead of the side screws it will vibrate loose.

First it would help if you identified the Make, Model and year of your coach. Most inverters power all the receptacle off one circuit breaker and the microwave off the other. So if your microwave is still working then you inverter is getting power. On the inverter one white button should be marked 30 and that in the input breaker the other two are marked 20 and they are for the output circuits. I would try pushing all three white buttons in just to make sure they are not popped. If that does not solve the problem try pushing on the rest button on the GFCI again. I have had to use a pointed object to push the reset in some times.

First let me say Thank-You to all that responded to my plea for help. I tried everything mentioned sometimes twice. The final issue was the inverter. I had looked at it several times and 2 of the buttons were popped out as always and the input was in. I must have looked at the inverter a dozen times but unsure how it really works I was a little apprehensive to push the buttons. Finally after looking more closely I saw a little yellow band on one of the stems so I pushed on it and clicked and restored my power. The wealth of knowledge on this board never ceases to amaze me... I hope someday I can return the favor when someone else has an issue that I've experienced...

I'm glad it was a simple solution to your problem.

time2go.....I found that on most Monaco coaches, you need to check circuits in the following order when you lose power because of an overload.
When on shore power, its typically the Inverter that trips first. I always check the GFI first before I run outside, but usually the inverter. After that I would check the main breakers.
When on generator, check the circyuit breaker on the nose of the generator and then the rest of the breakers in the above order.
