Well almost new .... soon. We just got back from DeMartini's in Indiana and ordered our new 2008 Diplomat 40SKQ. Delivery is projected for the end of August/early September. We did the factory tour one more time and our guide who was a CSR for Monaco gave us information on a new paint scheme called "Tommy Bahama" - gold, blue, yellow and a base of brown. I would post a picture but I sacnned in the one she gave us as a PDF and need to try and get it into a JPEG to post here. Hopeuflly the delivery will come through the end of August as we put our house on the market last week and sold it in one day. Now we have to scramble and move into our current 1996 Residency and live at the Navy Recreation Center in Solomons Island for the time being. It's not like the beach on the Gulf Coast (Florida) but it is on the Chesapeake and runs about $12.00 a day over the time frame we are planning on being there. Monaco and DeMartini have been great so far - we are having a stacked washer and dryer installed (along with just about evey option going) instead of the combo one and trying to get the tile extended all the way through the bedroom (the option will do the entire living area in tile), even though it's not on the options list - DeMartini will do the washer/dryer once the coach makes it to their place. Hey MonacoMama, can we visit your site and have our coaches picture taken at your lot? That's one of the best pictures of a beautiful site and coach on the web. Everybody keep all the great info flowing on Monaco - we are really looking forward to meeting everyone in the near future.

So we're talking full-timers here? Niiiccceeee! Congrats on the new coach. Indeed, post some pics for me to drool over when you can. Heck, my keyboard is covered now from the e-bay auction of a 2001 Executive in SC.

MCPO Ret ...
Oh..I am so excited for the three of you!! (Gotta count Bear!) I am sorry you have to wait as long as you do before you get your new Dip!! You will LOVE the DeMartini experience to the MAX!! I consider myself to be "in the business" in a round about sort of way...and you will not find a better dealer to have take care of you!
I am like Bama...I am almost droolin' on my keyboard right now. PM me if you like and I will see if I can convert your PDF to jpg format.

As far as visiting "my site"... you can go down there anytime..but I doubt that we will be there! THe picture in my signature is Motorcoach Country Club in Indio, Ca
We were there in April - that lot is available for sale for $339,000. They have some gorgeous spots that you own and can rent out when you are not there - but I can tell you that we wnjoyed out 6 days there! Please let us know WHEN you do make it towards No. Cal though - I would gladly love to meet up with you and take pics of our coaches next to each other!!
BTW... here is another link to some more posts on the resort..

I cannot wait to see pics of your "Tommy Bahama" !!!
