Topman,
Welcome to the iRV2.com forum where you will find a plethora of information and RV campfire stories.
Since you are now a Monaco owner, you are most welcomed to join another very useful and more technically oriented discussion forum called the Monacoers. It is located on Yahoo Groups where you will need a Yahoo sign in User-ID. This forum is focused specifically on coaches made by Monaco and its subsidiaries.
Both forums will have great information for you to absorb and you can use each one appropriately. You will feel most welcomed at both.
If you have any specific problems or questions, they are best answered at the Monacoers forum versus at iRV2.com where you will get numerous answers from all types of RV owners.
I will let you decide.
My last trip to spend the summer in Alaska, I drove right by your hometown shortly after crossing at the Sumas Border crossing. I spent the summer of 2010 in Anchorage & Fairbanks with my two sons. We plan to spend next summer, 2012, there also, but this time will be driving from Florida instead of California. We will be starting out early in April next year. After the summer in Alaska, we will return to the west coast for awhile passing right by your hometown once again.
Best to you and safe travels.
