New Monaco Owners

Hi to All:

Beth and I take possession of our new to us 2005 Signature Series Castle IV on Tuesday. We traded in our 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire 3778 which served us well.

We are looking forward to meeting fellow Monaco owners while on the road, and learning all about our new bus here on this forum. I have spend some time reading the various posts, and am very happy to have found this forum.

There is a lot to learn, a ton of new systems and set ups, this should be fun!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

randy

Congratulations! The Signature was Monaco's flagship. Many of the systems will be similar to your Mountain Aire, but the Signature will have additional high end components as well as a larger engine and trans. The only issue is it will spoil you and you will never want to live without the extra power and luxury.

You can download your original brochure here:
https://www.monacocoach.com/luxury-rv-brochures?y=2005

Your owners manual is available here:
https://www.monacocoach.com/rv-owners-manuals

A soft copy of the owners manual is great for to perform easy searches.
Best of luck!

Congrats...really nice rig. Once you get it loaded up you need to get it weighed to set your tire pressures. In the meantime I would suggest 115 front, 105 drive, and 75 tag. On the left side of the engine area there is an adjustable air regulator for the tag's airbags...45 psi is where I'd start at until you weigh it. Enjoy!

Welcome and congratulations.

Glad someone has the owners manual. Read it over and take notes. Highlight things of special interest. Write those page references down.

Now read the manual again in a week or less. Then do it again in a couple of week.

I promise you this will help. These beasts are incredibly complex and you will have an open book test one day while traveling with no internet service.

They are a tinkerers dream or a nightmare if you are not handy with tools, a voltmeter, and a check book.

Have fun and come back often as you gain confidence and enjoy your palace on wheels.

That will be a great coach. We love our 2004 Executive and the Signature is even nicer so enjoy. These are very well built coaches on a great chassis.

Saw the pic of your rig in your profile. Great looking Rig! If you want to meet a lot of Monaco/HR/Beaver owners, come to the Ramblin Pusher Maintenance Session.
