After a year and a half trying to get my rear camera working correctly Monaco desided to replace the whole Weldex system with the Voyage system. The picture is great and no blackouts but I can't see the back of the Toad. Although I can see the back cap almost upto the camera.

Has anyone else had the system replaced if so did they change things so you could see behind the Toad. I was thing that maybe I could change the mounting plate for the camera. Any help or suggestions are appriciated.

Thanks

Dave,

Yep, there's a fix for that problem. the problem is found on many 2007 models, as that's when Monaco switched to the Voyager system. Basically it involves changing the camera housing for a new one that is more angled to allow the camera to point higher. The topic was covered in detail recently in this thread.

Robin,

Thanks for reminding my of the pervious thread. I took a look at it but camera housing will not fit my 06 Holiday Rambler Endeavor. Here are some pictures of the camera housing I have.

Working on posting pictures

I was hoping that someone with a simillar placement of the camera on the rear cap had had their camera replaced the the Voyager.

itDave...
Sacs actually made a housing that matches that Monaco came out with for the 2007 housing. They came out with it AFTER we posted pics of the new one he did. I guess what I am trying to say is that you might be able to make your own.
I will find our original thread tomorrow if you don't find it...

Good Nite!
