Has anyone heard when Monaco will release a new Signature?

Last year I heard that they would build you one by "special order only," something about wanting to dry up the unsold ones in the supply lines. However, in looking at the Monaco website they don't even list the Signature anymore, so I'm guessing that the Sig maybe a dead issue.

Actually, looking at the website, Nothing new is listed above the Diplomat! Yes, there's a 2011 Dynasty on page 2 of Products, but what gives?

Lazy Days is selling a 2012 Dynasty with a new floor plan called the Palace. It is a nice plan. Wide, flush floor slide-outs on both sides. Driver's side galley. All electric. Old style front and rear end cap, not the new, in my opinion ugly, style. And, until the engines are gone they're powering it with a 2007 type ISX 650 Hp engine. The flush floor slides take a lot of basement space. The storage areas are very short.

I saw 3 Dynasty's being built in October. Monaco has not updated their website. They have to use the Cummins power as Navistar does not yet have a large engine in production. It realy is not a Navistar powerplant. A Cat that has been modified by Navistar. The worst of both worlds!

The Old-Style 2012 Dynasty we saw at Indio had a cap that looks like the Beaver Marquis. A much better choice than the new "V" style grilles, IMHO. Perhaps they're trying to establish a brand image relationship with their trucks (like the Lonestar?).

Steve,
There was a report a week or two ago from some one who had a conversation with Ryan Lee, Monaco's director of marketing, about the future of the Signature line. The reply at that time was they were looking at a time frame of 2013 and pushing the Sig up to just under $1,000,000 MSRP.

I'm thinking that with them moving the plant to Indiana they have probably put some of the higher end units on the back burner for now, until they get up and running full properly again.

I guess the Sigs, and Exec's if/when they build them will need to wait for something bigger than the MaxxForce 15 engines... 435-550 bhp (324-410 KW) 1550-1800 lb.-ft. (2099-2505 Nm). The 2012 Dynasty we looked at had the 525hp ISX engine. We were told that some of them to be produced will have the 600 ISX. I don't know how many 'old' ISX's Monaco has left.. after that they'll probably move to the MaxxForce high-end line for the big coaches. That'd mean the big 15+ L engine would go to Dynasty and up.
The sales people are saying that Monaco will "never" build a coach that requires DEF. I don't know if this will stay true but if so that surely limits Monaco 's choices.

They're weren't any 2007 ISX engines rated at 650 HP. That didn't come about until Mid Dec 2008. I missed getting the 650 ISX by 1 week when they built my 2008 Sig. I try to get Monaco to switch out my 600 for a 650 while it was being built but they wouldn't hear of it. The good news is that when Cummins dyno my coach my engine was actually putting out 700 HP. The Cummins guys asked me if I wanted them to turn it down and of course I told them to leave it as it came from the factory.
You can NEVER have to much HP.

I really like my Signature, but for a million dollars, it had better be a REAL show stopper. With that kind of money your're getting into Marathon country (along with Newell and a few others).

I was told at the Pomona CA RV show by a Monaco rep that the Sig has been discontinued and that the Dynasty is now it for the top.

The market values may rise for good used Sigs and Execs.
